A SEAFRONT pathway is set to be revamped in Holland-on-Sea.
The scheme will include resurfacing the stretch of well-used path along the Upper Promenade between Gunfleet Sailing Club and the Haven radar mast.
Work will start on Monday and should take about three weeks to complete.
Nick Turner, Tendring Council cabinet spokesman said: “This will bring this pathway up to a much-improved standard for all those who walk along there.
“It is already a very well-used route and we expect it to become even more popular when our £36 million sea defence project gets underway later this year.
“We expect the project to generate a great deal of public interest and we want this length of the promenade to be in good condition to accommodate the expected extra footfall.”
