A YOUNG boy suffered a broken arm and a head injury after a collision with a car in Holland on Sea.
The secondary school pupil was struck by a Ford Fiesta as he crossed the road after getting off a bus.
It happened by the junction between Frinton Road and Viking Way at about 3.40pm.
The boy, thought to be aged 12 years old, was treated for a broken arm and head injury at the scene before being taken to hospital as a precaution.
Frinton Road was partially blocked in both directions following the incident while paramedics helped the casualty and police carried out investigations.
