PLANS for a new classroom block at a Brightlingsea school have been approved.
The Colne Community School, in Church Road, hopes to replace a derelict demountable building with a two-storey teaching block.
It is also looking to provide a day nursery for school workers to use, with six new staff employed to run it.
A Tendring Council planning officer approved the plans on Monday.
