FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze at a holiday park in Walton.

Crews from Frinton, Clacton and Weeley were called to the Naze Marine Holiday Park, in Hall Lane, at about 12.45pm on Thursday.

A spokesman for Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said crews used breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to tackle the blaze.

“The fire appears to have started in a laundry room and has spread to a shop,” he said.
The fire was extinguished by 3pm.
