A MENTAL health care home in Clacton is celebrating after being given a five star food hygiene rating.
Regent House, in Wellesley Road, has been given the top rating as part of the new system, which was adopted by Tendring Council last year.
Joan Owens, manager of the home, praised cook Manda Bracegirdle.
“Our cook is a very hard worker who makes meals to a high standard and gives the residents’ nutritional and appealing meals,” she said.
