POLICE are hunting a pervert who groped a teenage girl in broad daylight in Clacton.

Two girls were walking up St Osyth Road towards the Rush Green traffic lights when a man approached them.

A police spokesman said: "He made inappropriate comments to them and as they tried to quickly walk away from him he grabbed at one of the girls and indecently assaulted her."

The assault took place at 4pm on Saturday.

The attacker is described as white, 5ft 5-6 in tall and aged 30-40. He was slightly tanned skin with a spotty complexion and stubble down the side of his cheeks and under his chin.

He had short, scruffy brown hair, possibly a pierced ear and wore a black and brown shirt with torn holes in the back.

He also had shiny dark tracksuit bottoms, with a lion down the side, and when he walked he leaned slightly to one side.

Anyone with information should call PC Nikki Heath at Clacton police on 101 or Crimestoppers.
