YOUNGSTERS got the chance to pick up some football tips as part of a fun-parked half term at Clacton Leisure Centre.
Budding Wayne Rooneys took part in the Mini Kickers session, which was staged by Colchester United Football in the Community, led by Karl Andrade.
He put the youngsters through their paces as part of a host of sporting and fun events for youngsters over the half-term.
Tendring Council sports development manager Chris Holmes said: “All the sessions were well attended and have included street dance with the Peppermint Dance Centre, two trampolining sessions, a karate taster and a five-hour outdoor soccer tournament.
“The street dance proved very popular and both the trampolining sessions were completely booked out.”
