A FAMILY day will be held to raise cash for the victims of the Clacton gas blast.
The explosion in Cloes Lane destroyed two homes and left several people injured on February 5.
Kind-hearted well wishers organised a massive appeal in the wake of the blast to help those affected.
They have now set up the family day event on Saturday to support the victims.
It will take place at Highfield Grange Holiday Park in Clacton from 10am-2pm.
The event will feature an indoor boot sale, bouncy castles, a magic show, face painting, crafts and food vendors.
There will also be an auction, with the star prize being an Arsenal football shirt.
Organisers are looking for as many stallholders to take part as possible.
It costs £5 for cars, £7.50 for vans, £10 for traders and £20 for business stalls.
Anyone interested in booking a place and boosting the fund can call Jon on 07972 124757.
