ESSEX cops who take their children on holiday during school times could get black marks on their records.
Fixed penalty notices are being issued to parents in Essex who do not wait for the alloted holidays for a break.
For police officers this notice could lead to official sanctions by the force.
Mark Smith, chairman of the Essex Police Federation, said: “It cannot be right a police officer receives a criminal conviction for wanting to spend time with his or her family."
