FRINTON Summer Theatre organisers have secured another big name for their 75th anniversary year line-up.

Joining the cast this summer will be TV star Vicki Michelle, best known for her role in iconic British sitcom ‘Allo ‘Allo.

She played Yvette Carte-Blanche in the long-running series, appearing in 85 episodes between 1982 and 1992.

More recently Vicki enjoyed a two year stint on popular soap Emmerdale and has a host of other roles lined up this year, including a week-long appearance in Frinton in August.

Vicki said: “I am thrilled to be a part of such an important season in the history of Frinton Summer Theatre."

Summer theatre organisers have been working to add star names to the line-up as a special celebration of the company’s 75th anniversary.

One Foot in the Grave star Richard Wilson has already been confirmed and the addition of Vicki Michelle has been hailed as another major coup.
