A FAMILY business in Frinton which has been a fixture on Connaught Avenue has expanded into new premises.
Johnson’s Cycles has operated from the same town centre store for 26 years.
But the owners have now moved the business on – a few hundred yards down Connaught Avenue to a bigger shop.
Des Johnson, his wife Sue and son Bobby run the business and decided they needed to switch sites to keep up with demand.
Des said: “We had totally outgrown our other shop due to the ever-increasing popularity of cycling with all ages.
“We had bikes stacked to the ceiling and this new premises became available at just the right time.”
Johnson’s Cycles has move into a former jewellery store in Connaught Avenue.
