A NEW basketball team has been set up to get adults active in Clacton.
The team, named The Hawks, has been set up by Lloyd Browne and has been sponsored by local Christian charity Asher Ministries.
Tryouts will take place at Clacton Leisure Centre on Tuesday February 25, from 6.30pm-9pm, with weekly sessions taking place every Tuesday following.
It will cost £5 to take part in the sessions.
Eamonn Black of Asher Ministries said: “Lloyd got it together and we wanted to support him, as well as encouraging and empowering other people in the area who want to take part.
“It is another way we can support the people of Clacton and get them active.”
