Crooks smash window but are scared away by dog
A WINDOW at the back of a Clacton home was smashed as crooks tried to force their way inside.
Police are investigating the attempted burglary in Dudley Road.
Officers think the culprits intended to break into the home before being scared away by a dog inside.
It happened between 11pm on February 5 and 9am the following day.
Anyone with information should call Det Con Jo Mangham on 101.
