A WOMAN was led to safety from her burning home after a fire started in a bedroom.
Fire crews were called to a semi-detached property in Kings Avenue, Holland on Sea, at around 10.30pm on Saturday.
The fire was in the first floor bedroom and the woman was suffering from smoke inhalation and was given first aid by firefighters.
She was then left in the care of the Ambulance service.
The fire was extinguished by 11.17pm with the two crews from Clacton using one hose reel.
A joint Police and Fire Service investigation will be carried out to establish the cause.
