RESIDENTS across Tendring are being urged to get involved in an Essex-wide survey on the use of recycling centres.
Essex County Council is launching the new survey to look at how people use those services right across the county.
The council currently runs 21 recycling centres across the county, costing £6.4million, and is reviewing all its services in the face of having to find £235m in cuts over the next three year.
Nick Turner, Tendring Council’s cabinet member for the environment, said it is vital that residents take part and have their say.
“These are services and facilities which are used by many people in Tendring and this is their opportunity to help shape their future provision,” he said.
“They are being asked to let the county council know what is most important to them and how their needs can be met.”
The survey will be available from Monday at www.essex.gov.uk/recyclingcentres.
