A MAN has admitted hiding the body of his dead wife in a caravan.
David Parker lied to police and claimed wife Jacky had gone on a cruise.
But a court heard officers found her body at Valley Farm holiday park in Clacton.
Parker admitted concealing the body of his 52-year-old wife and preventing its lawful burial when he appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court.
He denied another charge of perverting the course of justice by lying to police over the disappearance of his wife. That charge was left on the file.
Parker, 50, of Evans Court, Halstead, admitted two other charges of breaking a restraining order by contacting his wife.
Mrs Parker was last seen alive on October 31 last year. Police were contacted at around 11am on November 4 following concerns for her welfare.
The case was adjourned for reports and Parker was remanded in custody. There was no application for bail.
