A FUNDRAISER will be help to boost an amputee’s bid for a state-of-the-art running blade.
Helen Chapman, of Saville Street in Walton, had to have the lower part of her right leg amputated in 1998.
She has stayed active but has been held back by her prosthetic limbs.
Helen is close to raising enough cash for a specially designed blade and has organised another fundraiser to help raise the remainder of the money.
It will be a medium evening with Michelle James at the Royal Albion pub.
The event will take place on Saturday February 15 from 7.30pm.
A raffle and cake sale will also be held on the night to raise cash for the cause.
Tickets cost £10 and can be bought from the Royal Albion.
