A WOMAN was bitten by a dog which had been let off its lead along Walton seafront.
The young victim was walking her own pooch along the seafront when the incident happened.
A black and white Staffordshire bull terrier ran up to the woman and attacked her dog on Walton beach, near the town’s pier.
And she was bitten by the Staffie as she tried to chase it away, suffering minor injuries.
The incident happened on December 27 at about 11.45am.
Police officers are trying to find the owners of the Staffie following the attack and are appealing for information in tracking them down in a bid to keep the seafront safe.
