COMMUTERS are set to be given a boost by train operator Greater Anglia.
The company has announced its new retail strategy, aimed at increasing the number of products and facilities available in north Essex train stations.
The move is set to include longer opening hours, while existing retailers will also be encouraged to stock a greater range of products.
Ruud Haket, Greater Anglia Managing Director said: “We are committed to improving the station retailing facilities for our customers.
“Research shows travellers are looking for high quality, convenient services at stations.
“As well as aiming to increase customer satisfaction with stations and a better framework for tenants, the development of our plans should support the local economy, providing opportunities for local businesses.”
