TWO cars in a Clacton road were damaged in a late-night vandal attack.

A black Volkswagen Golf and a Toyota IQ were targeted by vandals in Warwick Road.

Both cars had their wing mirrors knocked off on January 9 at about 10.20pm.

Police say the damage caused will cost the owners hundreds of pounds to repair and have appealed for help in catching the culprit.

Officers are trying to identify a suspect who was seen in the area at the time of the attack.

He is described as a man of medium build, about 5ft 9ins tall, wearing blue jeans and a dark top at the time.

Anyone with information should contact PC Louise Everitt on 101.
