A FRINTON school has become the first in Essex to be awarded a quality mark for its PE department.
Tendring Technology College applied for the distinction and has now been handed the prestigious quality mark after an inspection by the Association for Physical Education.
The organisation commended Tendring Technology College’s PE department for its “outstanding commitment to improvement in physical education and sport”.
It marks the first time a physical education quality mark has been awarded to a school in Essex, or to an academy under the Academies Enterprise Trust umbrella.
