A LEADING seafront hotel has relaunched following a £1million overhaul.
Residents and business leaders were invited to the official reopening of the Kingscliff Hotel, in Kings Parade, Holland-on-Sea, following the investment from owners the Flying Trade Group.
The investment was welcomed by town hall bosses as a shot in the arm for the district’s tourism industry.
Spokesman Jill Moore said: “Residents and business leaders were welcomed to step inside, have a look around and join in a toast to the start of a new successful era of this renowned hotel.
“The evening was very well attended by local businesses, residents and associations.
“It was heart-warming to see such support for the hotel.”
The works have seen the creation of six extra luxury bedrooms above the restaurant, a further seven on the ground floor and upgrades to its other bedrooms, bringing the total to 30.
A former bar has also been converted into a function room.
