Police appeal for help after care home theft

POLICE are appealing for anyone offered stolen jewellery to come forward.

A number of items belonging to a resident at the Carnarvon Nursing Home, in Carnarvon Road, Clacton, were stolen by crooks.

The items include a gold wedding ring, a gold engagement ring, a gold eternity ring and platinum locket.

They were stolen between October 23 and November 18

PC Luke Baldwin, from Clacton Police Station, said he was particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered any of these items for sale.

Anyone with information should call PC Baldwin on 101.
