POSTMAN Pat collected letters to Santa from children as part of a special event at Clacton Factory Outlet.
Despite being his day off Pat, along with Jess the Cat, was at the shopping centre, in Stephenson Road West, on Sunday.
The meet young shoppers throughout the day and collected letters to Santa to ensure they reach the man himself in time for Christmas.
Allan Hassell, centre manager, said: “It was great to see so many young shoppers enjoy a visit from Postman Pat and Jess the Cat.
“Pat collected lots of letters for Santa, and he’ll be sure to post back the replies before Christmas.”
Santa will be appearing in his enchanted village every weekend at the centre until Christmas, as well as on December 19, 23 and Christmas Eve.
