YOUNGSTERS at a primary school in Clacton travelled back into history to stage a Victorian-style Great Exhibition.
Pupils transformed the school hall into London’s famous Crystal Palace for the event.
They then brought into their own versions of Victorian inventions, which they researched and created for their homework.
The inventions included telephones, cameras, robots, Victorian food, post boxes, bikes, a puppet theatre, board games, and mangles.
The exhibition was also visited pupils, teachers, and governors, as well as Queen Victoria, played by headteacher Vicky Jackson.
