Frinton: Alumni give advice to current Tendring Technology College pupils

FORMER students returned to their old school to dish out advice to current pupils.
A job-boosting campaign saw Tendring Technology College alumni head back to school to talk about life after leaving the classrooms behind.
The idea behind the sessions is to boost the career prospects of the current sixth form students and giving them the opportunity to learn from the experience and success stories of the past pupils.
It was organised with the help of London-based organisation Future First.
Laura Partridge from Future First said: “We started working with Tendring Technology College in 2010 to build a community of former students in a range of jobs around the school who could support current students as they make decisions about their futures.
“It was a brilliant range of alumni who came to speak to the students.
“It's amazing for them to hear from people who sat in the same seats and had some of the same teachers about the things that they can start doing now to prepare for their futures."
