10:00am Tuesday 29th October 2013 in News
STAND-up comedian Johnny Tait has turned his debut novel into a stage show and is touring the country.
Known as a warm-up act for household names such as Freddie Starr and Joe Longthorne, Johnny has been in showbusiness for 26 years.
But two years ago his wrote his debut novel, Conscience.
The play sees three people, who have never met before, trapped in a hell of their own making.
“It starts off quite funny,” Johnny said.
“It gets darker as it goes on and each character has a skeleton in their cupboard.
“There is a twist that will make you shiver.”
Not suitable for children under 16, the play contains some strong language.
Tickets for the October 31 show at 7.30pm at the West Cliff Theatre in Clacton are £10 from 01255 433344.
