Raunchy parody show 50 Days of Grey to hit Clacton stage

AN outrageous play which parodies a best-selling book is set to hit the stage in Clacton.
Comedy show 50 Days of Grey focuses on two friends who spice up their lives and find a break from every-day monotony with the discovery of a new saucy book.
The raunchy laugh-fest was written and directed by former Eastenders star Andrew Lynford.
The name and content provides a wink to the best-selling book 50 Shades of Grey, which has shifted millions of copies to become a smash hit bestseller.
Andrew, who played Simon Raymond in the long-running soap, said: “There have been a few books in the last year that have taken the UK and the world by storm and these books make the ingredients for great comedy."
He says the show includes course sexual references, but minimal use of strong language and is not vulgar.
It has been hailed as the ideal night out for couples, girl’s nights and hen parties.
Taking centre stage in the show are renowned actresses Sue Hodge and Julie Fox.
The play will hit the stage at the Princes Theatre in Clacton for one day only on October 18, starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from £13 at the theatre box office on 01255 686633.
