A KITESURFING instructor has helped another extreme sport enthusiast to smash a world record.
David Ursell, from Clacton-based Push Kiting, last year helped billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson to become the oldest man to kitesurf across the English Channel.
The 29-year-old instructor, from Village Close, Kirby Cross, has now helped to break two more records.
“I was in charge this time to make another world record attempt to kitesurf across the channel,” he said.
“We have completed the challenge with the youngest ever kite surfer - a German boy of 11 called Konrad Krieger.”
Konrad is the son of opera singer Barbara Krieger.
