Brides and grooms to descend on village in old wedding outfits
9:28am Friday 30th August 2013 in News
HERE come the brides... and grooms and guests and vicars.
Residents are being invited to put on their old wedding outfits for a fundraising village wedding in Great Bentley.
The unusual event on Saturday August 31 has been organised to mimic a real life wedding reception and is even held in a marquee.
Come dressed as a bride, groom, bridesmaid or even the vicar to raise cash for St Helena Hospice and St Mary’s Church.
Tickets priced at £15 will see all guests treated for a village wedding reception complete with finger buffet, glass of bubbly, disco and a piece of wedding cake.
The Out Village Wedding will start at 7.30pm in the marquee on Bentley Green.
Tickets are available from Cindy’s Deli in Gt Bentley or Carpenter’s Farm Shop in Aingers Green or by calling 01206 251321.
