UPDATED: Four appear in court on consipracy to commit burglary charges

ELDERLY and vulnerable people found their homes ransacked and £145,000 in jewellery and cars missing following a series of burglaries.
Four people have been remanded into custody and four more arrested after allegedly smashing their way into homes.
Police stopped two cars on the A12, one near Colchester and another near Boreham, on Tuesday.
Several people were subsequently questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary at eight or more properties including in Colchester, Clacton, Frating, Wivenhoe and Thorpe.
Gerald Ryan, 19, and Dennis Ryan, 27, of Orchard Close, Cottenham, Cambridge, were charged with conspiracy to burgle between Sunday and Monday.
Also charged were Myle Connors, 25, of Briset Road, Eltham, south east London and Errol Flynn, 20, of Hilary Road, Shepherd’s Bush.
All four appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court today.
No pleas were entered.
All four were remanded in custody until November 4 when they will appear at Chelmsford Crown Court for plea and case management hearings.
Four other people, a man and three women, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to burgle as part of the same investigation.
A 22-year-old woman from Ongar and a 30-year-old man from Ipswich were arrested along with two women from London also arrested on conspiracy to burgle.
All four have been bailed while investigations continue.
