Famous FA Cup trophy visits Walton caravan park

A 12-week-old baby became one of the youngest people ever to touch one of the world’s most famous football prizes at a Walton caravan park.
The FA Cup made a guest appearance at Naze Marine Holiday Park as part of a country-wide tour.
A football-mad family of holidaymakers took the chance to get up close to the legendary trophy at the Walton site.
The Watson family, from Southend, made a beeline for the display while on holiday in the town.
And the youngest member of the family, 12-week-old Mia-Rose Watson-Merison, took the chance to force her way into the unofficial record books by placing her tiny hand on the cup.
Gran Dawn Watson said: “We were all very excited. Everyone in the family is a big Spurs fan and this isn’t the sort of opportunity you get every day. It is spectacular, and has so much history.
“They told us not to touch the cup or they would tackle us to the ground, but I think Mia-Rose got her hand on it.
“How do you tell a 12-week-old not to touch a giant shiny trophy? It is quite a claim to fame!”
