Clacton's Flicks cinema could be set to reopen

MOVIE lovers are celebrating after it was revealed Clacton’s Flicks cinema could be set to reopen.
The Gala Coral Group shut the doors of the town’s last remaining cinema in October.
But the company has now revealed it is in talks with another company about running the cinema.
Members of the Clacton Community Cinema group, which was set up in a bid to keep a cinema going in the town, said they were overjoyed by the announcement.
A spokesman for Gala Bingo said the company did not want to comment in detail on the plans, but added: “Gala Bingo can confirm that we are in talks with a third party to run the Flicks cinema in Clacton.”
