JIMMY JONES is set to take to the Clacton stage next Saturday, March 30, after a break of five years from the town.

The 75-year-old, who confesses his shows were always “too naughty for TV”, is now in his 52nd year in showbusiness.

But he says he still gets a buzz from performing on stage.

“I like a belly laugh,” he said. “It’s very special to make people laugh."

Jimmy is set to return to Clacton for a show at the Princes Theatre on March 30.

Tickets for 7.30pm gig are £17.50, concessions £16.50, and available from the box office on 01255 686633.
