Jobseekers to be given work placement advice
10:00am Thursday 21st March 2013 in News
JOBSEEKERS are to be given advice on finding volunteer placements in a bid to find work.
The Volunteer Centre will be hosting the event at the Coastal Community Centre, in Pathfields Road, Clacton.
The centre will be offering advice and guidance on volunteering placements and training opportunities.
Lee Knight-Camilleri, centre manager, said: “Volunteering can offer you work-based experience and skills ready for employment, or simply people may have some free time to give.”
The sessions, for which appointments are not required, will take place from 9.30am to 11.30am on April 3 and May 1.
