Firefighters called to shed fire

THE threat of exploding gas cylinders kept firefighters on full alert while they tackled a shed fire in Kirby Cross.
Crews from Brightlingsea and Weeley were called to Halstead Road just after 4pm.
They spent about an hour putting out the flames in the shed, which was destroyed, while trying to deal with the cylinders involved in the fire.
