Question time - round 3
12:00pm Thursday 14th March 2013 in News By James Dwan
RESIDENTS in Clacton have called for action to be taken over speeding, recycling and potholes.
Council bosses were put on the spot by residents during Tendring Council’s cabinet’s Question Time event.
The event was the third of its kind in the district and saw local politicians questioned at St James Church Hall, in Tower Road.
Residents asked why Tendring is recycling less plastic materials than before and only collecting a certain grade of plastic.
Council Leader Peter Halliday said less people turned out than at previous events in Holland-on-Sea and Harwich, but cabinet members answered more than 20 questions.
