Clacton: Blaze breaks out in town centre flat

FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a flat fire near Clacton town centre.

The blaze broke out in a flat in Rosemary Road at about 10.20pm on Tuesday.

Three crews from Clacton and Weeley were sent to the incident and extinguished the fire just before 11.30pm.

The property was heavily smoke logged and firefighters had to use high-pressure fans to clear the building.
