Clacton: Hospital overwhelmed by radio donations

NURSES have been overwhelmed by donations after a radio was stolen from Clacton Hospital.

The £60 digital radio was swiped from a waiting area at the hospital just over a week ago.

But three digital radios have been donated and one man handed over in envelope containing £60 to fund a replacement.

Sister Angela Barron said: “We would like to thank everyone who has come forward for their thoughtfulness and generosity."

Mrs Barron said steps would be taken to secure the new radios and protect them from thieves in the future.
