Clacton: Mel on track to complete '52 things' in year-long fundraiser

A FUNDRAISER is on track to complete 52 new things this year in a bid to raise cash for charity.

Melanie James is doing one new activity each week to boost mental health charities.

She has now crossed eight challenges off the list after completing a kite buggying session.

As well as kite buggying, Melanie has been scuba diving, hovercrafting and slept in an igloo, amongst other challenges.

Melanie said: “I'm loving this year of challenges and have so far enjoyed them all.

“I’m still on track to complete one per week, and now I want to kickstart the fundraising a bit.”
