Kirby Cross: Burglars steal jewellery haul in house raid

BURGLARS broke into a house in Kirby Cross and escaped with jewellery worth thousands of pounds.
The intruders forced their way through the back door to get into the Halstead Road house.
Crooks grabbed a mass of valuable jewellery worth several thousand pounds in the raid, which happened between 3pm and 9pm on Sunday February 24.
Amongst the goods taken were a Raymond Weil watch and a Skagen dark dial watch.
The burglars also got their hands on a yellow gold eternity ring with six diamonds, a yellow gold Victorian style cluster diamond ring, a yellow gold Victorian style ring with three rubies and two diamonds, and a white gold diamond cluster ring.
Police officers are hunting for the culprits. Anyone with information should contact Det Con Lee Winfield on 101.
