Walton: Car crashes into bus stop

A WOMAN was taken to hospital after her car smashed through a bus stop on Walton seafront.
The blue Volkswagon Polo crashed through the bus stop in The Parade at about 2.50pm on Friday.
A woman in her 30s was driving. She had to be cut from her car and was placed in the care of paramedics.
The road was blocked while emergency services cleared the shattered glass from the street.
