A DRIVER had to be cut free after three cars collided by a level crossing.

Police, paramedics and fire crews were called to Station Road in Thorrington after a crash on the B1029 at about 8.15am this morning.

Police sealed off part of the area while fire crews cut out a driver, who complained of neck and back pain.

Ambulance crews arrived at the scene and confirmed there were no serious injuries.

The incident was still ongoing at 9.15am.
