Frinton: Mobile cinema set for surround sound upgrade
1:10pm Wednesday 13th February 2013 in News
FRINTON’S local cinema showings are set to be boosted by the addition of surround sound.
The new sound set-up has been installed at McGrigor Hall, where the town’s “cinema on sea” showings are held.
Organisers of the cinema nights Sally Johnson and Judith Charlesworth, who also run book shop Caxton Books, say they cannot wait to hear the new system in action.
Judith said: “The whole system has been upgraded so the sound is much improved.
“It will bring it even closer to the real cinema experience.”
Punters will be able to experience the upgraded sound for the first time on Saturday for the screening of period love-story Anna Karenina, starring Keira Knightley and Jude Law.
