2:30pm Thursday 31st January 2013 in News
POLICE are continuing to search for a dad-of-four who has been missing for three weeks.
Jamie Toomey, 45, vanished from his home in Holland-on-Sea on January 6.
He was briefly spotted by CCTV cameras in Lower Promenade the following day, but since then there has been no sign of him, despite extensive police searches.
A police spokesman said: “We are still looking for him and want him to make contact with us or his family so that we can make sure that he is safe.”
Sister Debra Nolan, niece Katie Nolan and wife Mandy Toomey, from whom he is separated, held an emotional press conference at Clacton police station following his disappearance.
They said Mr Toomey was depressed and had talked about committing suicide before his disappearance.
Mr Toomey is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall and of medium build. He is bald and clean shaven
Anyone with information should call Clacton police on 101.
