AN AWARD-WINNING chip shop hopes to share its success with budding restauranteurs.
The owner of Johnny Mac’s Plaice in Church Road, Brightlingsea, wants to set up a training school for would-be fryers.
John McNeill, a qualified chef for 30 years, has submitted plans to Tendring Council for the school above the fish shop.
The council is due to make a decision on the plans by March 13.
