A GANG of crooks broke into a Clacton house and stole cash from the owner at knife point.
Five teenagers forced their way into the house in Orwell Road at 6.30pm on Monday January 21.
They threatened the occupant with knives and a meat cleaver, stealing cash and two mobile phones before fleeing.
The victim was not hurt.
Det Sgt Daniel Jeffries said: “We would like to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time or can provide any information around these men.
“Also, we are seeking any information around a small red car and a black Ford Focus that was seen in the area at the time of the incident.”
