Victim's wallet snatched in Clacton alley attack

A MAN was punched twice in the face before having his wallet snatched by robbers in Clacton.

The 23 year-old was walking home from work when he was approached by four men.

He was hit in the face by one of the men, who then demanded his wallet.

When the victim refused he was punched again, before one of the robbers grabbed his wallet from his pocket.

It happened in an alleyway between St Johns Road and Pathfields Road at about 4.45pm on Monday.

After the attack the four robbers ran off across nearby playing fields towards the fire station.

The victim suffered cuts and bruises to his face but did not need hospital treatment.

The four robbers were all wearing hooded tops. The attacker who punched the victim is described as white, of slim build, 5ft 8ins tall and aged 20 to 22.

He was wearing a black top, while the other three men were white and wearing light-coloured top.
