Signals caused train delays
2:03pm Tuesday 8th January 2013 in News
RAIL passengers faced disruption yesterday morning after a signalling problem.
The technical fault between Stratford and Liverpool Street meant services faced delays and cancellations on all routes in and out of the capital.
Travellers faced delays of up to 30 minutes, while a train to Manningtree finished its journey at Colchester because of the hold-up.
Train operator Greater Anglia apologised for any inconvenience caused by the delays, which lasted from 8.30 am until 11am.
