Missing: Jamie Toomey
FEARS are growing for a missing man who failed to return to his home in Holland on Sea at the weekend.
Concerns were raised for the welfare of Jamie Toomey, 45, on Sunday afternoon.
He has no access to a car but failed to return his home in Kings Parade.
Police are carrying out a search of the area.
Mr Toomey is described as white, 5ft 9in tall and of medium build. He is bald and clean shaven, although the photograph police have released shows him in 2009 when he had a beard.
A spokesman said: "Police are continuing to search the local area and ask anyone who sees a man answering this description or knows of Mr Toomey’s whereabouts to contact police at Clacton on 101."
Clacton lifeboat also joined the search this afternoon between Clacton Pier and Lion Point, Jaywick.
